Name: Wilfred Sedgwick
Age: 72
Occupation: Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Height: 6”
Weight: 13 stone 5 pounds
Nationality: English
Birthday: 12th December 1941
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Blood: Half
Appearance:
Perhaps a little eerily Wilfred Sedgwick looks a little like the late Albus Dumbledore. He has the long, silvery hair and beard, dresses in classically long, sweeping robes and has a wizened, wrinkled face which makes him look older than he is. His eyes are an earthy brown, rather like the colour of mud. He has a scar behind his left ear, but he cannot remember how he received this scar.
Personality:
Wilfred was a great admire of Professor Dumbledore and he tries, though he sometimes fails, to run the school as he thinks Dumbledore would if he were still alive. He is a lover of peace, a romanticist, who sometimes sees what he thinks he should rather than the harsh realities. He is a strong believer in blood equality, judging everyone as equals, and longs for a communist society. He is often seen as a little eccentric in his ways, a little out of the ordinary, a trait which also belonged to the previous headmaster of Hogwarts. He shows his thoughts and feelings in the way he acts and he talks about his feelings and opinions of things. He likes physical affection and wants to be admired and his eccentric ways sometimes make him the centre of attention. He tries to make jokes often, but he is not a funny man. If he makes mistakes he tries to shift the blame, wanting to have an un-tarnished reputation. In times of stress he falters, unsure what to do when his plans and dreams do not work. He compulsive worries about every decision he makes because he wants everyone to like him, not the best trait in a headmaster.
History:
Wilfred suffered severe concussion and an ample amount of memory loss when he fell from his broom during a Quidditch match at Hogwarts when he was a student. Unfortunately for him this memory loss was irreversible and he had to be put back 3 years to regain the knowledge which he had lost. If he was able to remember Wilfred would recall memories of a happy but strict family home in which he lived with his mother, father and 4 brothers – 2 of whom were younger than him and 2 of whom were older than him.
At the beginning of his time at Hogwarts as a student Wilfred was sorted into Hufflepuff and this led to his strong desire for equality for everyone. Whilst he did enjoy his time at Hogwarts Sedgwick was not always liked by his peers, who thought him weak and obnoxious. But after suffering memory loss Wilfred’s personality changed quite a bit, and for the better.
Upon leaving school Wilfred found that he had few qualifications because whilst he had studied hard, he was not the most intelligent of people. He worked in several shops for a while, living a 9 to 5 life. Then a position became available in the Ministry of Magic, a low-down position none-the-less, but Wilfred applied for the job and was thrilled when he was offered it. After working for the Ministry for over 40 years it is only right that Wilfred made his way up the hierarchy, becoming quite an important member of the Ministry.
At the age of 50 he was given the honour of an Order of Merlin, Second Class. He was awarded this for being so friendly and welcoming to all Muggles who crossed his path, treating them no differently to any Wizard or Witch.
In 1998 he was chosen as the person to lead Hogwarts School into the new era, an era of harmony and unity. He was chosen for his polite, friendly nature although some question his leadership skills.
Other Information: Wand – 12 inches, Rowan (commonly known as Mountain Ash) with a Unicorn hair core.

The aging wizard moved from around the counter with an agility that didn't match his years when he looked up upon hearing his name to see one of his prized owls escaping. The owls did escape from time to time but Reginald had moved so quickly because the door of the shop had opened. He didn't have time to see who it was, or to make sense of what they were shouting.
"Shut the blasted door!" He cried, followed by, "Impedimenta!" and with a sharp flick of his wand the owl slowed in mid air. Unable to stay air-borne at such a slow speed it drifted slowly to the ground. The shop keeper scooped up the owl, which was moving too slowly to bite him, and placed it back in it's cage. He slammed the cage door shut and made sure the catch was fastened before turning around to face the 2 young men who were in his shop. He recognised both of them as frequent visitors to Eeylops, but he only knew one of them by name.
"Master Charleston!" He exclaimed more than shouted, ignoring the other Hogwarts student. "Would you mind telling me what on earth is going on here?"
