Nationality: English

Adela has a slender figure and her fine brown hair cascades in loose waves down her back. Her skin is slightly tanned and has a smooth texture. She has inherited her pale green eyes and full lips from her father although the rest of her appearance, including her lack of height, is more like her mother’s. She avidly follows the latest fashions and tries to reveal as much of her body as possible without being too tacky.
Personality:

> Perfume
> Boys
> Herself
> Expensive clothes
> Purebloods
> Her reflection
> Primping herself
> Getting her way
> Attention
Adela dislikes:
> Muggleborns
> Muggles
> Gryffindors
> Hufflepuffs
> Insects
> Board games
> Having to be patient
> Bad hair days
> Embarrassment
Adela’s worst fear is that she disappoints her family and her ambition is simply to be rich and popular.
History:
Before Adela’s birth her father was a well respected, high-flying member of society, but this came to an abrupt end when his death-eater status was discovered and he received a life-time sentence in Azkaban. Adela’s mother kept her head held high and some of the family pride intact by hosting many dances for high-class witches and wizards. Adela feels resentment towards her father for being in Azkaban and not supporting herself and her mother.
Although Adela is English, she also speaks quite a lot of Spanish. This is due to spending a large amount of her summer in Peru visiting friends of the family.
Best Subject: Potions
Worst Subject: History of Magic.
Other Information: Her wand is 81/2 inches and is made of Cherry wood with a dragon’s heartstring core. Spoilt little rich kid doesn’t even cover it.
Preferred House: Slytherin
Roleplay Sample:
Adela sat next to the lake with her fingers entwined in the grass and her legs curled beneath her, watching with mild interest as a small, first year girl made a perfect dive into the lake. Although it was a hot day Adela wasn’t so much as tempted to go for a swim herself for, if she was to be honest, the lake was the only thing about Hogwarts that scared her. She yawned lazily and stretched her arms into the air. She hadn’t had much sleep the previous night as she had lain in bed thinking about her father. Surprisingly under the circumstances, she didn’t think of him often. Thinking about Farr Meliflua was a waste of time; he was a condemned man who had almost no chance of ever being free from Azkaban. However, recently there had been an increase in rumours about the Dark Lord returning and surely, if he did, he would free his loyal followers from the Wizarding prison. Adela rubbed her eyes agitatedly as she wondered if it would be possible to send an owl to her father. After considering doing this for a few moments, she dismissed the thought from her mind. There was no point, it was extremely rare that prisoners in Azkaban were allowed to read their mail and he certainly wouldn’t be able to reply. It was a long time since she had visited him, as her Mother believed that Azkaban was no place for a child. She was right of course, but the last time Adela had seen her father she had been only eleven. And, even then at such a young age, after seeing her father who was only a hollow figure compared to what he once was, Adela had not cried. She had wanted to more than anything but it didn’t seem right to cry for him when he was still alive. She was lost in thought when someone tapped her on the shoulder.
