Name: Emma Malkin
Age: 15
Year: 6th
Height: 5”11
Weight: 83/4 stone
Nationality: Spanish
Birthday: 1st September
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Blood: Muggle Parents
Appearance:
Emma is very tale and thin for her age. She has quite tanned skin because of her Spanish heritage and her slightly wavy, dark brown hair cascades past her slender shoulders and to her middle. She has intriguing, yet fairly small, green eyes and a small scar under her left eye which is almost invisible unless you know that it is there.
Personality:
Emma was once a very fragile and weak person who didn’t feel like she fitted on. But, starting Hogwarts and realising that there were others like her has brought Emma out of her shell. She was always a kind person, only now she has the bubbly personality to go with it. She enjoys fooling around and having fun with her friends and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and doesn’t mind openly expressing her loathing of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. The only other things apart from her kindness that Emma has kept the same since starting Hogwarts are her love of swimming and music.
History:
Emma’s parents are both Spanish. When she was younger, her parents were both poor, so they decided to move to England to try and better themselves, in the hope that their daughter would be happier as she grew up. Unfortunately, although Emma had a good education in England she became very aware of the fact that she was different to the other students. Because of this insecurity Emma became Anorexic at a startlingly young age, she was only 7. She also developed a passion for exercising, particularly swimming. Emma found, even at such a young age, that listening to music from her native country calmed her and she consequently learnt to play the guitar. Starting Hogwarts is the best thing that has ever happened to Emma, well, that and the birth of her baby brother, Lewi, during her second year at the school.
Best Subject: Divination
Worst Subject: Defence Against the Dark Arts
Other Information: She has a black cat named Felix.
Preferred House: Hufflepuff
Roleplay Sample:
Emma opened one eye lazily and looked around her. It was the summer holidays and so she was greeted with the warm and welcoming site of her own bedroom. Emma would be turning fifteen soon, but from looking at her small bedroom you would be forgiven for thinking that the room belonged to a child. Since she had started Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry Emma had only spent a few of her holidays at home with her parents and her younger brother, Lewi. This being so she had simply never had the time to get round to redecorating her room. All four walls of her bedroom were painted a startlingly bright pink colour; her lamp, nightshade and metal bin were all decorated with Barbie and flower stickers. Emma’s carpet was of a luxurious purple colour and this was her favourite aspect of her room. Her bed was plain and made of pine and it stood in the corner of the room. Emma sat up in her bed and stretched her arms up into the air whilst she yawned. She reached for her glass, which was on her pine bedside table, and brought the cool water to her lips thirstily. Emma threw off her purple bed sheet and stretched again. She was glad to be home and with her family again, not that she didn’t love Hogwarts. She swung her legs around so that she was now sitting on the very edge of her bed, and rubbed her eyes.
