Haydn's attention was focused completely on Adela, so he didn’t hear Jack cough. He only realised that someone was there when Adela jumped and her shoulder hit his chin. His free hand shot to his chin but he refused to take his other arm away from around Adela's shoulders as she and Jack spoke. 'Of course you were interrupting something, are you blind as well as stupid?' His mind screamed but he let Adela speak. He scowled heavily when she pushed him away and he didn't give Jack time to reply to Adela's question before answering for the younger Slytherin, "He's jealous." He continued to rub at his chin with a disgruntled look upon his face.

Jack's lips curled into a smirk when he made Adela jump and seemingly hurt Haydn by merely coughing. His smirk couldn't be disguised and it widened to a grin when Haydn spoke before he could.
'Hmmm...jealous...well...the question is who to be jealous of,' he thought, his eyes surveying first Adela, his gaze lingering a little in certain places, and then Haydn, 'Nope, no question really, they both look hot to me.'
Jack placed his drink down on the table and sat down opposite the two older Slytherin's. "I asked because I didn't want to break up anything special,' he chose that word particularly carefully, "Because I know it's hard to get some privacy in a public place." Again he emphasised a word, hoping to annoy both Adela and Haydn.

When Haydn didn't really move all that much Adela's lips pursed themselves, a clear signal to the Slytherin's in her company that she was now in a bad mood. This mood wasn't helped by the way that Jack emphasised some of his words. Adela knew that he was only doing it to wind her up and that she should know better than to let him, but she simply couldn't help it.
"You know fine well Jack that that wasn't anything special. It was just a spur of the moment thing. And anyway, from what I hear, you're not really the one who should be commenting on what I get up to in public. On the contrary, I should be saying things to you." Adela snapped, managing to keep her voice at a relatively normal level.

Jack smirked with satisfaction as he succeeded in winding Adela up. He casually took a cigarette from the inside pocket of his robes and he lit it with a Muggle lighter that he also took from the concealed pocket.
"Sodding Ministry rules." He grumbled in explanation as to why he was using a Muggle contraption, meaning the law that said underage wizards couldn’t use magic outside of Hogwarts. He was a little riled, not because Adela seemed to know about what had gone on whilst she was away, but because she was trying to use his own insult against him.
"So, we’re even now then." He brought the cigarette to his lips and sucked on it, inhaling the smoke without even a cough. Unlike Muggle cigarettes the ash didn’t fall, it seemed to disintegrate into thin air. "I think we can both say that we enjoy ourselves and that we see no problem with that. Hell, We’re only young once." He smiled, risking a glance at Haydn to see what the other Slytherin’s reaction was to what Adela had said about what had been happening not being ‘special.’

Haydn looked down at Adela as she and Jack conversed. When he noticed that the Slytherin girl's features had become harsh he realised that he and Jack had put her into a bad mood, so he wisely took his arm away from around her shoulders. His scowl grew heavier when Adela pointed out the fact that what had been happening between them wasn't anything special.
'Why am I so annoyed? I know it wasn't anything special,' he thought to himself, 'I'm just a guy and I needed Adela to help me out, that's all, I'm just a teenage guy.' He decided in his mind with a slight nod of his head.
"What do you want, Jack?" He asked, choosing to not react to any of the previous comments that his two fellow Slytherin's had been making.

Jack smirked around his cigarette as Haydn's eyebrows knitted tighter together when his scowl became heavier. Taking the thin white stick away from his lips for a moment Jack reached for his butter beer and took several swigs of the liquid. After putting his glass back down on the table Jack inhaled on his cigarette once more before replying to Haydn's question.
"In truth,' he began, 'I wandered over here simply because I felt like it. But, now I am here, I was wondering if we should organise the first party of the school term? We could hold it in the common room on the first night back. What do you say, Adela?' He asked, turning to the teenage girl, knowing that she would never say no to a party.

Adela was only half-listening to what Haydn and Jack were saying because she was looking over at the young barman, who was also looking back at her with a knowing smile upon his face.
'Do I know him from somewhere?' she began to wonder, but her attention was brought swiftly back to her companions when she heard the word 'party.'
"A large supply of alcohol, loud music, a bunch of sexually frustrated guys. Why do you even need to ask?" She smiled coyly. "Hopefully our common room will be large enough. We should make everyone bring at least two bottles of alcohol and ask them to bring anything extra they may have, if you get my drift. The only problem would be spreading the word around with such little time to see everyone." Adela adored parties for all the reasons that she'd mentioned and more and had immeadiately began planning in her mind what she would wear; it would have to be new, of course.

When Adela launched into ideas for the party Jack couldn't suppress the grin that spread quickly across his face at her enthusiasm.
'We should be careful if extra things are involved, everyone might not make it back to their dorms without being caught by Filch. We'd either have to pay him off with something or make sure that he's ill that night.' Jack raised his eyebrows to make sure that Haydn and Adela understood what he meant. 'Spreading the word around will be quite easy actually, just send an owl to everyone you know and they'll pass the word on.'

Adela smiled and shook her head slightly, amused at what the younger Slytherin was saying. She took another sip of her drink before replying.
"Oh Jack, why do you worry about others so much?" She laughed and looked up at him sitting across the table, "Personally, I couldn't care less if someone gets caught by Filch, so long as that person isn't me and knows that if they so much as mutter my name to that foul man they will be punished - severely. So, you can waste your time making sure that no one is caught if you wish to do so Jack, but I wont be."
Adela stood up and nodded, “However the owl thing is a splendid idea, it seems so obvious now that you’ve said it.” She leant down and kissed Haydn on the cheek, then she stepped out from behind the table, leaving her now empty glass behind, and also kissed Jack lightly on the cheek.
“It’s been good to see you both but now I have to return home, my Mother will be expecting me.” She explained and with that Adela wrapped her cloak around her shoulders and crossed the floor of the Leaky Cauldron, only pausing briefly to open the door when she reached it, and stepped over the threshold of the pub and back out onto Diagon Alley.

Rachella walked into the bar, she looked around and found a booth with shadows covering it. Knowing that no is sitting there she put her stuff down and sat down.
A few minutes in booth, she was getting thirsty. Rachel got up and walked to the bar. "Excuse me, sir" the bar man looked up "what do you want?" asking in a very deep voice. "I would like water" the man brought out a mug and filled it with liquid. Knowing that that was not water. when it was filled to the top he handed it to her. "no, I want water, you know the clear stuff muggles drink" pushing the drink to the man. He looked at her with confusion and pushed the mug back to her. "No! I want water." Rachel's eyes filled with greed. "We don't drink water here. it's only butterbeer, pumpkin juice, firewhisky, other stuff that you have to be 18 or older to drink." She sighed in defeat. Taking the mug she went back to her seat. alone.
She took a sip and found it was the most delicious drink she had ever tried. Butterbeer he called it, well it was great.
She took out a parchment. quill and ink. She dabbed her quill in the ink and started writing. A million words and thoughts came into her head.
